Municipality of Pontiac flag
Charlene Brennan and Sonia Dagenais helped design the flag in 1992, when they were in grade 6. Their two winning designs were combined into this flag by a graphic designer. Here's a photo from The Equity. There are a few more on the Facebook page:

Pontiac federal electoral district
As well as the municipality of Pontiac and the MRC Pontiac, there is also the electoral district of Pontiac - larger even than the MRC (or old "County").
This Wikipedia article has a list of the members of Parliament since 1867, and election results 1867 to present. Some election expenses are listed too. It seems to be accurate - the source is the Library of Parliament. There's even a small map.

St. Vincent de Paul
Little known fact!
Luskville has a St. Vincent de Paul second hand shop at 23A Ch. du Village!
That's right beside the Catholic church high up on the hill-- St. Dominiques -- you can see it from the highway -- and just across and down a bit from the elementary school, Notre Dame de la Joie.
Usually open on Saturday mornings,and sometimes open on Tuesday afternoons 1--3 pm, the shop is kind of hard to find but very well worth it, with very very low priced clothing which is, in general, very very high quality.
There is also a donation box in which you can leave good clothes, shoes and small house wares.
Please, no large furniture or broken and out of date electronics.
Toys and games and music and skates welcome.
Saturday May 7th:
There will be a large community yard sale at the St. Vincent site, including BBQ food and snacks for sale, and a table run by the 6th graders from Notre Dame to raise funds for their graduating year's trip.

Birdwatching in Pontiac
When birdwatching in the Pontiac don't forget to bring your copy of the Guide to Birdwatching Sites of the Outaouais which includes a Frequency Chart of the Birds of the Outaouais. To purchase a copy, please contact the Club des ornithologues de l'Outaouais (info@coo.qc.ca).
And further more, we wish to hear from you, about birds you see in your backyard or out in the Pontiac wilderness. This information will help us better follow and understand the population fluctuations of different bird species. Many thanks and have a pleasant outing in the Pontiac natural wonders.
