Comment by Mo: This is only for costs. Our Police and garbage costs are high, (large area, low population) and we have slightly more employees per 100 residents than average. On the other hand should we be proud that we spend little on Loisirs et culture (includes hockey, soccer, libraries)? ($43 per resident vs. $303 per resident in Gatineau, or $102 in Shawville)? Perhaps value for money should be the criterion. Feel free to add your own comments!
